Question Answered!

After last week I think everyone in Philadelphia was holding their breathe a little bit, but the Eagles came out with short memory as they took an early lead and then went into cruise control against the Redskins.

Facing division rivals the New York Giants next week, let's hope they can carry the forward the momentum.

Monday Night was a nice moral victory for the Birds, albeit it a little sloppy. The Eagles will certainly need to tighten up the screws before the clash with the Giants. The offensive line could give Donovan a little more time in the pocket and try to not collapse around him so much so he has an outlet to scramble and shed tacklers. The defense has been having a hard time all season wrapping up tackles. Consequently they don’t get off the field on 3rd down.

However there is ample light at the end of this tunnel. DeSean Jackson continues to come up with an explosive play week after week with a 67 yard end around touchdown run and a 57 yard touchdown reception. Add another touchdown from newly acquired MLB Will Witherspoon off of an interception, and 2 David Akers field goals and that is all she wrote.

In his debut with the Eagles Will Witherspoon was an animal. Shot out of a cannon with 8 total tackles, 6 solo, 1 sack, 1 interception and a touchdown Witherspoon was all over the field which left all of us asking, "What linebacker problems?"
